One of our most well known and loved native woods, Oak has many uses, such as furniture and worktops as well as decorative items. Oak is a mid brown hard wood with a very fine and tight grain. This example has a lacquer finish for a hard wearing shine and comes with a chrome and black clock face.
 
Wooden ball clocks are turned as a sphere on the lathe and then finished. Each clock comes with a rubber ring to sit on. The clock face pops out so that the time and battery can be changed when required.
